xDams announced a prestigious partnership with Pratt Institute on New York to support (in cloud) the next courses of the School of Information and Library Science about the Artists archives.
Courses will be managed by Cristina Pattuelli, Associate Professor at the School of Information and Library Science at the Pratt Institute and LinkedJazz project director, and Farris Wahbeh, Cataloguing and Documentation Manager of Whitney Museum of American Art.
Partnership aims to configure an english version of xDams open Source platform (languages and international description standards) through a collaboration among Pratt and regesta experts.
The course will be held at the Pratt Institute, historical school of art, design, architecture, computer science, library science. Pratt has two campus a Brooklyn and Manhattan in New York it was “Founded in 1887, Pratt Institute is a global leader in higher education dedicated to preparing its 4,600 undergraduate and graduate students for successful careers in art, design, architecture, information and library science, and liberal arts and sciences“
