xDams allows to access and browse archives in different ways: guide of the archival fonds, hierarchical structure, finding aids, list of the fonds creators, free and advanced search
xDams provides a “multi-fund” allocationfor different archives of heterogeneous nature. The data model implemented is compliant with the most relevant standard of archival description (EAD, ISAAD, ISAAR, FIAF etc.)
All the descriptive metadata are stored within xDams in native XML databases The core of the preservation and configuration process is based on Java framework (including open-source libraries), developed and maintained by regesta.exe. read more
